Optimus Primal - Not Munky, not Trukk

Optimus Primal was a gigantic bat in one of his past lives! In cartoons and comics, he was always depicted as a giant gorilla. So when I saw this MOSC toy at a shop for $35, I quickly grabbed it :)
The Kenner brand name is prominently printed. At the back, we see that this toy is manufactured in 1996 by Tonka Corporation. I think I'll keep this toy mint in my collection.

Car Robots - Super Fire Convoy

Car Robots may not boast the best storyline, but the robot designs are fantastic! The transformation and articulation are superb! I initially gasped at the $120 price tag. But eventually I succumbed to the dark side and bought this beauty together with his brother, Ultra Magnus for $220. After that, I got the Super God Sword... but that will be another posting :)

Who doesn't like a fire trukk? :)

Pepsi Prime

Japan - Land of the vending machines. They are everywhere selling almost everything you can think of, and some things you won't ever dream of. So how difficult can it be to get one bottle of Pepsi Twist?

That's what I thought, till my friend almost blew a vein trying to find one "p (Thanks thanks thanks! You know who you are!!) I understand you had to put up with someone who can't tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi *wink*

I like to teach the world to sing... Oops, wrong company Pepsi is the right of all sentient beings!

One final caution: Pepsi lowers your position and fire power. You have been warned! "p

Super Ginrai

To me, Super-God Masterforce is still the best transformers series. Since then, newer ones like RID, Armada (Ptui!!) and Energon couldn't hold a candle to this series. And to think that this was shown more than 20 years ago!

I remembered being so excited the first time I saw Prime's cab combine with his trailer to form Super Ginrai. So when I saw this re-issue some years back, I just have to get it!

The toy maybe a brick, but it's one of the best brick around :)
My name is Ginrai! Transform! God On!

Transform!!! They tell me I look like Optimus Prime

Transform to Super Ginrai!

Choro-Q Convoy

My colleague gave me this in 2002. This was the tipping point which started my Transformers collection. I haven't forgiven him since "p
This is the metallic version (2002). It comes in a simple plastic tray with his gun still on plastic sprue.
Similar to God Ginrai, the trailer is part of the final robot mode.
Transform!!!Truck mode

It has rubber wheels!

Chibi Prime!

Chibi-Prime has been in my cupboard for goodness knows how long.

I coloured his rifle and wheels using a normal black marker. The stickers may have faded, but he still looks good

Off screen, Chibi-Prime and Chibi-Megs are pretty good frens. They frequently go for non-alcholic drinks together.
